When you own a barbeque restaurant, it’s important to have a quality draught beer system in place. After all, what tastes better than a delicious beer and some great barbeque? When Phil Pace, owner of Phil’s BBQ located in San Diego county, was looking to replace the restaurant’s beer system, he knew exactly who to call: Glacier Design Systems.

Phil’s BBQ is known for its Midwestern, wet barbeque flair. They serve a variety of barbeque dishes, including barbeque ribs, chicken, burgers, and salads. One of their most popular items is the Broham Sandwich, which is essentially a pulled pork sandwich. They slow roast the pork and finish it off over a mesquite wood broiler. Another popular menu item is their El Toro sandwich, which consists of deli-sliced tri-tip, topped with some caramelized barbeque sauce and served on a nice, fresh Kaiser roll.

Along with these delicious food options are their variety of beers available on tap. Phil’s BBQ wanted a draught beer system that could be functional yet also attractive in design. Our team at Glacier worked with them to create the overall design of their unique system, which includes having 16 different beers on tap. They also have a double line up of eight cobra heads that splits their system. This setup allows for bartenders to serve the same beers at multiple stations, allowing for it to be functional and attractive at the same time.

With the new system set in place, Phil and his team couldn’t be any happier with Glacier’s work. “Glacier has helped us maximize our profit,” said Phil. “Everyone has been so impressed with the frosted cobra heads on the beer system and have given us multiple compliments on their design.”

Phil went on to say that he is so happy with his decision to partner with Glacier. From our sales team to our maintenance guys, Phil knows he can trust us in providing the best service and quality products out there.

“Our partnership with Glacier is key. I like for my business to wow our customers – and Glacier helps me do it.”
